Graduating in 2010 with a major in Critical Media and Cultural Studies from Rollins College and a prestigious internship at Vogue during her senior year, Kat’s professional pursuits have always been rooted in the art of visual storytelling. She began her post-collegiate career in Manhattan, working for luxury ready to wear collection Morgane Le Fay on Madison Avenue. Her next role was in VIP services with Grand Life Hotels. Eventually, returning to Orlando to continue her craft at Chanel, apprenticing in visual merchandising and VIP client relations. However, her love for curating elevated design didn’t stop there...
In 2017, Kat founded Karpenter Rose, a brick-and-mortar retail concept featuring archival vintage pieces and home décor. It was here that she honed her eye for detail and deepened her understanding of the intersection between fashion, culture, and consumer behavior. When the events of 2020 reshaped the retail landscape, Kat pivoted into the world of digital marketing, drawing on her vast experience in the luxury space to launch Milieu MGMT.
